Existing solutions of trust management for multimedia big data are imperfect or in- comprehensive. Multimedia big data brings additional challenges to trust manage- ment research with regard to the security and privacy of multimedia, the efficiency and accuracy of multimedia process and the dependability and quality of processing results.
This special issue aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss various aspects of trust management for multimedia big data, explore key theories, investigate technology enablers, develop significant applications and innovate new solutions for overcoming major challenges in this research area.
