	Dr. Pablo Cesar leads the Distributed and Interactive Systems group at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in the Netherlands. Pablo’s research focuses on modeling and controlling complex collections of media objects (including real-time media and sensor data) that are distributed in time and space. His fundamental interest is in understanding how different customizations of such collections affect the user experience. Pablo is the PI of Public Private Partnership projects with Xinhuanet and ByBorre, and very successful EU-funded projects like 2-IMMERSE, REVERIE and Vconect. He has (co)-authored over 100 articles. He is member of the editorial board of, among others, ACM Transactions on Multimedia (TOMM). Pablo has given tutorials about multimedia systems in prestigious conferences such as ACM Multimedia, CHI, and the WWW conference. He acted as an invited expert at the European Commission’s Future Media Internet Architecture Think Tank and participates in standardisation activities at MPEG (point-cloud compression) and ITU (QoE for multi-party tele-meetings). 	Dr. Silvia Rossi is a PostDoc (ERCIM fellow) of the Distributed and Interactive Systems group at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in the Netherlands. She received her BSc and MSc degrees, both in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Bologna – Cesena (Italy) in 2013 and 2016, and her Ph.D from UCL, London (UK). Her PhD topic was “Understanding user interactivity for the next-generation immersive communication: design, optimisation, and behavioural analysis”. Truly passionate about multimedia and technology, her research interests are at the crossroad between multimedia processing, data processing and analysis, machine learning, and communication systems. 	Dr. Marco Bertini received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Florence in 1999, and Ph.D. in 2004. He is working at the Media Integration and Communication Center of the University of Florence and is Associate Professor at the School of Engineering of the University of Florence. His interests are focused on digital libraries, multimedia databases and social media. On these subjects he has addressed semantic analysis, content indexing and annotation, semantic retrieval and transcoding. He is author of 22 journal papers and more than 100 peer-reviewed conference papers, with h-index: 23 (according to Google Scholar). He is an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Multimedia.
	Prof. Kjell Brunnström is a Senior Scientist at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden AB and Adjunct Professor at Mid Sweden University. He is an expert in image processing, computer vision, visual perception and video quality assessment having worked in the area for more than 30 years, including work in Sweden, Japan and UK. Currently, he is leading standardisation activities for video quality measurements as Co-chair of the Video Quality Experts Group (VQEG). His research interests are in QoE for visual media in particular video quality assessment for 2D,3D and immersive media, as well as display quality related to TCO Certified. He is an associate editor of the journal of Signal Processing: Image Communication and has written many articles in international peer-reviewed scientific journals and conference papers (> 100).
	Dr Mihai Gabriel Constantin is a researcher at the AI Multimedia Lab, University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania, and got his PhD at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology at the same university. His PhD topic was “Automatic Analysis of the Visual Impact of Multimedia Data”. He has authored over 25 scientific papers in international conferences and high impact journals, with an emphasis on the prediction of the subjective impact of multimedia items on human viewers and deep ensembles, having a Google Scholar h-index of 8. He participated as researcher in more than 10 European, national or industry-based research projects, and is a member of technical program committees and reviewer for several workshops, conferences and journals. He is also an active member of the multimedia processing community, being part of the MediaEval benchmarking initiative organization team, and leading or co-organizing several tasks during MediaEval that include Predicting Media Memorability and Recommending Movies Using Content, as well as publishing several papers that analyze the data, annotations, participant features and methods, and observed best practices for MediaEval tasks and datasets. 	Dr. Jingjing Chen is currently an associate professor at the School of Computer Science, Fudan University. Before joining Fudan University, she was a postdoc research fellow at the School of Computing in the National University of Singapore. She received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the City University of Hong Kong in 2018. Her research interest includes multimedia information retrieval, image/video content analysis, and adversarial learning. she has won the best student paper in ACM Multimedia 2016 and Multimedia Molding 2017. She has served as Registration Chair for ACM MM 2021, and Program Committee Members for ACM MM 2019-2021, ICME 2019-2021, CVPR 2020-2021, ICCV 2020, etc.
	Dr. Mylene C.Q. Farias received her B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil, in 1995 and her M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, in 1998. She received her Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB), USA, in 2004 for work in no-reference video quality metrics. Dr. Farias has worked as a research engineer at CPqD (Brazil) in video quality assessment and validation of video quality metrics. She has also worked as an intern for Philips Research Laboratories (The Netherlands) in video quality assessment of sharpness algorithms and for Intel Corporation (Phoenix, USA) developing no-reference video quality metrics. Currently, she is an Associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Brasilia (UnB), where she is a member of the Graduate Program in Informatics and of the Graduate Program on Electronic Systems and Automation Engineering (PGEA). Dr. Farias is a researcher of the GPDS and her current interests include video quality metrics, video processing, multimedia signal processing, watermarking, and visual attention. 	Dr. Karel Fliegel is an assistant professor at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering (CTU FEE), Multimedia Technology Group, since 2007. He obtained the Electrical Engineering degree (M.Sc.) with distinction in Radioelectronics, specialization in Audiovisual Technology (Modeling of Image Sensor Characteristics in Matlab) in 2004, and Ph.D. (Modeling of visual perception of image impairment features) in 2011, both from the CTU FEE. His research interests include multimedia technology, image processing, image and video compression, subjective and objective image quality assessment, HVS modeling, and imaging photonics. His teaching activities include courses in photonics, multimedia technology, and signal processing. Under his supervision, more than 50 students successfully finished their master’s degrees, more than 35 completed their bachelor’s degrees, and two Ph.D. dissertations were defended. He has co-authored about 140 scientific publications, including more than 20 journal papers. He has been a member of research teams within European and Czech grant projects or research programs, especially in the area of visual information processing, including COST ICT Actions IC1003 Qualinet and IC1105 3D-ConTourNet. He has regularly served as a TPC member of numerous conferences and a reviewer of several established journals.
	Dr. Jesús Gutiérrez is an experienced researcher (Juan de la Cierva fellow) at the Image Processing Group (GTI) of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain. He received the Telecommunication Engineering degree (five-year engineering program) from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (Spain) in 2008, the master’s degree in Communications Technologies and Systems (two-year M.S. program) in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in Telecommunication in 2016, both from the UPM. From 2016 to 2019 he was a post-doctoral researcher (firstly, Marie Curie Fellow within the PROVISION ITN, and then, Marie Curie PRESTIGE Fellow) at the Image, Perception and Interaction (IPI) group of the Laboratoire des Sciences du Numérique de Nantes (LS2N) of the Université de Nantes (France). His research interests are in the area of image and video processing, evaluation of user quality of experience, immersive media technologies, and visual attention and human perception. Currently, he is the chair of Immersive Media Group (IMG) of the Video Quality Experts Group (VQEG).
	Dr. Tobias Hoßfeld is full professor at the Chair of Communication Networks at the University of Würzburg, Germany, since 2018. He finished his PhD in 2009 and his professorial thesis (habilitation) “Modeling and Analysis of Internet Applications and Services” in 2013 at the University of Würzburg. From 2014 to 2018, he was head of the Chair “Modeling of Adaptive Systems” at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. He has published more than 100 research papers in major conferences and journals and received the Fred W. Ellersick Prize 2013 (IEEE Communications Society) for one of his articles on QoE. Among others, he is member of the advisory board of the ITC (International Teletraffic Congress), the editorial board of IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials and of Springer Quality and User Experience.
	Dr. Ichiro Ide received his BEng, MEng, and PhD from The University of Tokyo in 1994, 1996, and 2000, respectively. He became an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Informatics, Japan in 2000. Since 2004, he has been an Associate Professor at Nagoya University. He was also a Visiting Associate Professor at National Institute of Informatics from 2004 to 2010, an Invited Professor at Institut de Recherche en Informartique et Systèmes Aléatoires (IRISA), France in 2005, 2006, and 2007, a Senior Visiting Researcher at ISLA, Instituut voor Informatica, Universiteit van Amsterdam from 2010 to 2011. His research interest ranges from the analysis and indexing to re-targeting of multimedia contents, especially in large-scale broadcast video archives, mostly on news, cooking, and sports content. He is a senior member of IEICE and IPS Japan, and a member of IEEE, ACM, and JSAI.
	Dr. Conor Keighrey is a lecturer & researcher in the Technical University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS), Ireland. He received his BSc. in Computer Network Management and Cloud Infrastructure in 2016, following this he was a successful candidate for the prestigious Irish Research Council (IRC) Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme. His PhD entitled “A Quality of Experience Evaluation of an Immersive Multimedia Speech & Language Application” was awarded in 2020. His research focuses on understanding the key influencing factors that affect the quality of experience of emerging immersive multimedia experiences (Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality). He is highly active within the multimedia research community working closely as part of the technical programme committee for several international conferences and workshops. More recently he has served as workshop chair for the International Workshop on Immersive Mixed and Virtual Environment Systems (2022) and as streaming/media chair and web chair for the International Conference on Multimedia Systems (2022). 	Dr. Mathias Lux is Associate Professor at the Institute for Information Technology (ITEC) at Klagenfurt University. He is working on user intentions in multimedia retrieval and production and emergent semantics in social multimedia computing. In his scientific career he has (co-) authored more than 80 scientific publications, has served in multiple program committees and as reviewer of international conferences, journals and magazines, and has organized multiple scientific events. Mathias Lux is also well known for the development of the award-winning and popular open-source tools Caliph & Emir and LIRe (http://www.semanticmetadata.net) for multimedia information retrieval. Dr. Mathias Lux received his M.S. in Mathematics 2004, his Ph.D. in Telematics 2006 from Graz University of Technology, both with distinction, and his Habilitation (venia docendi) from Klagenfurt University in 2013. He worked in industry on web-based applications, then as a junior researcher at a research center for knowledge-based applications. He was research and teaching assistant at the Knowledge Management Institute (KMI) of Graz University of Technology and in 2006 he started working in a post doc position at Klagenfurt University, at the Institute for Information Technology.
	Dr. Antonio Pinheiro received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from the I.S.T. University of Lisbon, Portugal, in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from University of Essex in 2002. Since 1988 he is a lecture at University da Beira Interior (UBI), Portugal. His current research interests are on image processing and computer vision domains, including Multimedia Standardisation, Quality and Privacy, and also on Image Classification and Medical Image Analysis. He is the Communication chair and a Portuguese committee member of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 29/WG 1 (JPEG). He has been Portuguese representative of the European COST Actions 292 and IC1003 -€“ Qualinet, and currently he is Portuguese representative of IC1206, DE-ID – De-identification for privacy protection in multimedia content and BM1304, MYO-MRI – Applications of MR imaging and spectroscopy techniques in neuromuscular disease.
	Dr. Miriam Redi is a research scientist at the Wikimedia Foundation, in the Research team. Her research focuses on content-based social multimedia understanding and culture analytics. In particular, Miriam explores ways to automatically assess visual aesthetics, sentiment, and creativity and exploit the power of computer vision in the context of web, social media, and online communities. Previously, she was a research scientist in the Social Dynamics team at Bell Labs Cambridge, a postdoc in the Social Media group at Yahoo Labs Barcelona and a research scientist at Yahoo London. Miriam holds a PhD from the Multimedia group in EURECOM, Sophia Antipolis.
	Dr. Christian Timmerer received his M.Sc. (Dipl.-Ing.) in January 2003 and his Ph.D. (Dr.techn.) in June 2006 (for research on the adaptation of scalable multimedia content in streaming and constraint environments), and Habilitation in June 2014 (for adaptive media streaming over HTTP and quality of sensory experience) from the Alpen-Adria-Universität (AAU) Klagenfurt. He joined the AAU in 1999 (as a system administrator) and is currently an Associate Professor at the Institute of Information Technology (ITEC) within the Multimedia Communication Group. His research interests include immersive multimedia communication, streaming, adaptation, Quality of Experience, and Sensory Experience. He was the general chair of WIAMIS 2008, QoMEX 2013, and MMSys 2016 and has participated in several EC-funded projects, notably DANAE, ENTHRONE, P2P-Next, ALICANTE, SocialSensor, COST IC1003 QUALINET, and ICoSOLE. He also participated in ISO/MPEG work for several years, notably in the area of MPEG-21, MPEG-M, MPEG-V, and MPEG-DASH where he also served as standard editor. 	Maria Torres Vega is an FWO (Research Foundation Flanders) Senior Postdoctoral fellow working at the multimedia delivery cluster of the IDLab group of the Ghent University (UGent) currently working on the perception of immersive multimedia applications. She received her M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain, in 2009. Between 2009 and 2013 she worked as a software and test engineer in Germany with a focus on Embedded Systems and Signal Processing. In October 2013, she decided to go back to academia and started her PhD at the Eindhoven University of Technology (Eindhoven, The Netherlands), where she researched on the impact of beam-steered optical wireless networks on the users’ perception of services. This work awarded her PhD in Electrical Engineering in September 2017. Since she joined the multimedia delivery cluster of IDLab, she has worked on the delivery of immersive media. In particular, she has focused on two complementary aspects, namely the optimization of streaming protocols and the end-user Quality of Experience assessment and enhancement. On this proposed research, she obtained an FWO Postdoctoral research grant and an NWO Rubicon Postdoctoral grant. Moreover, she just got awarded a senior postdoctoral FWO grant on the topic of cybersickness management in immersive multimedia applications In her years in academia (since October 2013), she has authored more than 40 publications, including three best paper awards. Furthermore, she serves as reviewer to a plethora of journals and conferences. In 2020 she served as general chair of the 4th Quality of Experience Management workshop, as tutorial chair of the 2020 Network Softwarization conference (NetSoft), and as demo chair of the Quality of Multimedia Experience conference (QoMex 2020). In 2021, she served as Technical Program Committee (TPC) chair of the 2021 Quality of Multimedia Experience conference (QoMex 2021).
	Dr. Yamakata received her Ph.D. degree in Informatics from Kyoto University, Japan in 2006. She was an expert researcher of NICT, Japan from 2007, a lecturer and an associate professor of Kyoto University from 2010, a JSPS research fellow at the University of Tokyo from 2015, an international visiting researcher of the University of Sussex, UK between 2016-2017 and currently an associate professor of the University of Tokyo, Japan. Her research interests include multimedia processing especially regarding cooking and eating activities. She has served as Organizing Chair for CEA2009-2014, and Program Chair for CEA2015-2020 and Program Committee Members for MADiMa2016-2019.
